PALS HeartCode Skills Testing-Recertication

For those wishing to complete the American Heart Association’s PALS Provider course as a Blended Learning option (online portion, followed by a hands-on skills session). The PALS HeartCode Refresher skills testing is specifically for individuals that have a current AHA PALS Provider certification or those that have an AHA PALS Provider certification that expired within the last 60 days. If you are obtaining an AHA PALS Provider certification for the first time or if your AHA PALS Provider certification expired more than 60 days ago, please visit the PALS HeartCode Original Skills Testing registration page instead.

Upon successful completion of the AHA HeartCode PALS eLearning (online) portion, which is offered through the American Heart Association’s website, candidates may register for the skills test. Proof of completion certificate must be presented. To schedule the skills testing appointment, please call the office at 845-431-8390. Appointments are scheduled two weeks in advance of the testing date.

Individuals will receive their AHA PALS certification within 20 business days of completeting the skills testing session.
