HeartCode HS CPR/AED and/or First Aid Skills Testing-Recertification

For those wishing to complete the American Heart Association’s HeartCode HS CPR AED, HeartCode HS First Aid, or HeartCode HS First Aid CPR AED course as a Blended Learning option (online portion, followed by a hands-on skills session). The HeartCode HS CPR AED and/or First Aid Refresher Skills Testing is specifically for individuals that have a current American Heart Association HeartCode HS CPR AED, HeartCode HS First Aid, or HeartCode HS First Aid CPR AED certification or for those that have a certification that expired within the last 60 days. If you do not have a current American Heart Association HeartCode HS CPR AED, HeartCode HS First Aid, or HeartCode HS First Aid CPR AED certification or your certification expired more than 60 days ago, please visit the HeartCode HS CPR AED and/or First Aid Original Skills Testing registration page instead.

Upon completion of the appropriate online course, candidates may register for the appropriate skills test. Proof of completion certificate must be presented. For a skills testing appointment, please call the office at 845-431-8390. Appointments are scheduled at least one week in advance of the testing date. 

Please note, if you would like to obtain an AHA HS CPR AED certification, you must complete the Heartsaver CPR AED Online course. If you would like to obtain an AHA HS First Aid certification, you must complete the Heartsaver First Aid Online course. If you would like to obtain AHA HS First Aid CPR AED certification, you must complete the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online course. 

Individuals will receive their AHA certification within 20 days of completing the skills testing session.
